I really enjoyed being on the Brendan O’ Connor show yesterday. It was an interesting experience having my article critiqued by the panel!
I was very pleased to get the support of Dr Conor Skehan and completely agree with his point that this initiative could easily be led by the government.
The state employs over 300,000 people and I believe this proposal would work really well for our front-line services, especially in health (where I worked for 15 years). Paul Reid is the perfect man to implement the initiative. With collaborative rosters, staff participation and some hard work this can happen! I have reached out to some colleagues to help me collate relevant data to further asses the viability of the proposal in the COVD-19 context. They know who they are so thanks for the help!
